(…although I guess this would be more like March snow brings April flowers?)
Living in a place that has actual seasons I’ve noticed the gradual progression of spring flowers: first the daffodils bloom, letting you know winter is just about to be over, then the cherry blossoms when the weather just changes from cold to warmer, then tulips, then all the other flowers bloom and the trees all turn back to green practically overnight. Every Spring day it seems as if something new and even more beautiful is blooming.
I took these photos just a couple weeks ago and now the tulips are long gone, their flowerless stalks still blowing in the wind. How is it practically mid-May already, and how is it that summer is just around the corner?
