I was super bored at work today, mostly bc I was procrastinating. Actually, Im just super burnt out from work, so my brain more or less shut down. The rest of my team fed off my lethargy, and together, we created a photoshop chain letter. It started with a simple photography picture of this dude in one of our beanbags, and ended up–as it was passed from design person to design person–as a dude w/a jokers hat, playing bongos, drinking a brewski, and staring at a mardi gras deer smoking a joint. good times. (NOTE TO IBSY: I totally didnt see your IM window blinking. Sucks)
we all went out later to the royal exchange, had a couple of beers, and reconfirmed that we are the most burnt out team alive when it comes to relationships. It really is uncanny, all the heartbreak assembled in one team. Fergie said that we represented our brand perfectly: full of teenage angst.
either i was drunk, or the dudes at royal exchange actually didnt look so bad. granted, nobody talked to me (b/c stupid DJ had blocked me into the corner), but overall I thought–it could be way worse.
the downside of today — i was really tempted, b/c of all the downtime and relationship talk, to email scb. I didn’t. So thats good, right?
I actually have plans this weekend. DJ is dragging me to his friends party. I dont know why he wants me to go, except he says stuff like how he wants to show me off or something. Im really not all that interesting at parties. I just keep to myself and stuff my face w/buffet food.
The bulldog invited me out to a club on sat, but Im scared to go. All his buds will be there, and all his buds are composed of 24 yr old dudes. I know that should mean that should be a jackpot for me, but Im just not in the mood to deal with immature men, after having to deal with them so much on a daily basis. Then again–i could air out one of my cute tops…and i could be flirty…we’ll see.
