We took the long way home this year: first driving to Atlanta to meet up with Sly’s parents and then on to Nashville and Memphis for some alone time before finally arriving at my home in Houston late last night. It’s been a hectic month (more on that later when I hopefully get back to blogging more than 2x a month) so Christmas, the holidays, being able to spend some time road tripping together and then eating lots of good food with family has felt like we have finally reached the light at the end of the tunnel. We have lots to be thankful for and are so happy to finally be home.
