just as i was getting ready to meet the mom, scb called to cancel. apparently his stepsister (who lives in oakland) was getting all pissy b/c his mom and stepdad were spending all their time in sf. which, come on, is pretty logical. oakland isnt necessarily on a top 10 list of places to see before you die.
so i didn’t have to meet the mom/stepdad/family after all. yay.
