met up w/beaker at the ferry building. Giselle and I went shopping beforehand and scoped out gap to try all their perfume testers. Too bad there’s not a sephora nearby for me to freshen up.
ah well.I figure he would find it charming or cute since thats what thoughtful fuckers like Beaker do. He, of course, was amused by the whole thing–me in work clothes with my artsy glasses and heels. Thank god I wore something sort of decent today, even if I didnt really have any makeup on.
Anyway, we went to Hog Island Oyster Co. in the Ferry bldg and sat at a table near the water and shared a ton of oysters. Such a beautiful day, and a rare, warm evening. We just chit chatted like old buds, b/c thats what we do, and b/c talking to him about anything is always very easy.
But, I will say this: we have definitely lost momentum and whether its bc of nyc or bc of natural causes, I started to wonder again if we had a more than friendship chemistry.
He, of course, was very polite and, after the last time, was very hands off so as not to freak me out, and well, what can i say. Its nice. I mean, he came ALL the way down from where he was (he was working from home, the ferry bldg is on my way home) just to meet up w/me, and then went all the way back home. That’s pretty major effort.
I dunno, I like hanging out with him so I guess what more can you really ask for at this point?
