I can now do a front handspring!
Do not ask me to try this at home or on the grass because Im not consistent yet, nor am I comfortable on anything but a springy, giving surface. But…YAY!
For the first time since class started, I was told to go into the advanced beginner’s group, rather than the dunce group that I usually am in.
In other (odd & scary) news, on my way to gymnastics, we encountered the scene of a crime–or the latest homocide to occur in SF. We arrived just after the shooting. The cops were just arriving to close down the street…we were one car away when we were told to turn around due to a shooting. Lovely.
